D.I. sure knows how to "ROCK"

Speaking of Andrew, he's so awesome! Knowing that I've been wanting to find a cool old rocker to fix up for the nursery, he stopped by D.I. today on his way home from work and found this little gem!
It's perfect! We can't wait to sand it down and stain it to match the baby's crib!

The Silliman's come to visit!

So I was having too much fun take any pictures but my is mom and dad came to visit this past weekend. We had a blast and it was just what the doctor ordered after a very busy last couple weeks. They spoiled Andrew and I as usual, and little man now has his first wardrobe ready to go. Thanks Grandma!!

I am just so grateful for my parents, for their continual love and support, they're amazing examples, and the force for good they are in our lives. I couldn't ask for better parents and I love them to death, not to mention I miss them like crazy!

I'm now counting days til my graduation when I see them next!

18 weeks and counting...

I went to the doctor yesterday for a little checkup and everything is going GREAT! The babies heartbeat was strong, he/she is moving all around, and I'm growing right on track (and very quickly I might add...)

I even made my appointment for my 2o week (and 1st ever) ultrasound to find out what gender this little "dill pickle" is. Andrew's been calling it "Dill Pickle" since I read my weekly email update on Saturday informing us that our little one is now the size of a Deli Dill Pickle...They use some interesting comparisons but I guess I got a good mental picture so their mission was accomplished.

I'm SOOO looking forward to flying home to Portland this weekend for President's day. Andrew has to work Monday so he's staying here but I'm sure he'll be glad to get some alone time without his crazy wife! I've already got multiple restaurants planned out and a to-do list started with Mom. I can't wait to see Jyl's new house too!! Fun Fun...all I have to do is get through the next couple days...
