11 months!!

I can't believe that my little man is growing up so fast! I remember thinking it was going to be forever before he could crawl around and get into things...WRONG! He's a blast and I love watching him experience his world.

-He loves walking around anything he can hold on to.
-He loves playing rough-- the higher you toss him or the louder you are, the more fun he has.
-He only nurses in the morning then takes whole milk from the sippy cup the rest of the day
-He loves to feed himself and would eat Honeycombs all day if we would let him!
-He's still a bit of a momma's boy, but he sure loves playing rough with his daddy.
-He loves to be outside and his friend Davis' little power wheels bike may be his new favorite.
-He loves to be just be in his diaper and hates getting dressed
-He shows noooo sign of being negatively affected by his difficult start which makes his mommy and daddy feel very happy and grateful.
-He brings us more joy and happiness we could ever imagine. We love our little family and couldn't be more excited that we know we can be together forever!

SOOOO EXCITED....

Once upon a time, I walked into Chipman Hall, 1103 to be exact, and immediately was a little overwhelmed with this whole BYU experience. My roommate was...different, my room was...small, my life seemed to be...turning upside down. LUCKILY, just a couple doors down, 1107 to be exact, lived this girl who seemed to be pretty cool. At one of the first (of many) awkward ward get-to-know-you activities, we really hit it off and Ashley has been a huge part of my life ever since. From the many trips to Costa Vida, to completely eating it in the snow (saving the E.L. Fudges first and foremost) to the hours of laughter, tears and confiding in each other, I have grown to love this girl so much. I couldn't be more happy for her that she met the man of her dreams and is being married for time and all eternity on August 20th. I'm soooo excited that I'll be able to be there with her on her amazing day! I always tell her this but I honestly couldn't think of anyone who deserves more happiness and blessings in the world. Dan is a lucky man!! CONGRATS!!!

Fun with Mike and Nat

We were super lucky to have Andrew's little brother Mike and his girlfriend Natalie here last week. Between trips to the Zoo and Multnomah Falls and a night out for them downtown we stayed busy and had SOOO much fun.

Beach Trip

One of the guys that works with Andrew got married this past weekend at the Oregon Coast so we hopped in the car Saturday morning and drove to Cannon Beach (about 1 1/2 hrs from our house) It was a sweet ceremony with an AWESOME view. I never spent too much time at the coast when I was younger and Andrew and I haven't been back since our honeymoon, but both Andrew and I agreed we're gonna make sure to make the trip a couple times when it warms up here soon.
