Why it takes us 10 minutes to get in the car...

These 14, yes count them 14, lab puppies are kept just yards from where we park our cars- needless to say getting in the car is not as easy as it use to be.
The horses down the driveway aren't any help. If this child is going to be an animal lover, he was definitely born into the wrong family!!!!

In other news, my parents were amazing enough to help us get into a house in Sisters! We'll rent from them for a year or so and then buy it from them in a while. We are beyond excited to get into a house before the next little guy comes and not have to move again for a few years! The house is part of Central Oregon's tour of homes this summer, so we can't get in til the end of July but it's sooo worth the wait! It's an awesome place and we're so thankful and excited...

Double Trouble!

We are having another BOY!! Everything looks great and I'm still set to have my c-section on Sept. 21st. I can just imagine the things Bauer is going to teach his little brother!

our little Ellis Easter!

Saturday morning we hit up the Sisters Community Church with some friends to have a little easter egg hunt. Bauer thought it was a competition to see who could chuck the eggs the furthest. He was having fun and making lots of friends who figured out if they stuck around long enough, he would throw another egg across the lawn and they could add to their own collection.

(such a typical Bauer pose!)

Sunday Menu:
-BBQ short ribs
-Strawberry Spinach Salad
-Twice-baked potatoes
-Roasted Broccoli
-Homemade Cresent Rolls
-Apple Crisp and Ice cream
= YUM!

Hope you had a great Easter too!

Warning: pure MUSH

I wouldn't exactly classify the Mr. and I as a very mushy couple. We don't use pet-names for each other. We don't even come close to touching when we sleep. We don't cuddle while watching our favorite sporting events, biggest loser, or parenthood (the only tv we watch). You won't catch us holding hands very often and you won't see me write about my "hubby" in my facebook status. haha. But I've been slightly obsessed with this Train song since it entered my world via Pandora a few weeks ago while I was playing with Bauer in his room. It is so great and I just love the lyrics. I remember writing in my journal about a year after we got married that I wanted to love Andrew in a way that made him fall in love with me all over again everyday. I've still got lots of work to do in order to be that type of wife, but there's one thing I've learned. A successful marriage takes work, and living in a way that your actions, thoughts and priorities show that you're just as committed and in love as the day you sad Yes. I hope my actions throughout the day, in a way, asks Andrew to Marry Me again that day, to promise to work and love and embrace every struggle and every moment of joy we share.
I've been especially grateful for Andrew this past week. I honestly feel more in love with him today than ever before-- i hope I'm showing him the devotion, love, and admiration that proves I'm marrying him everyday.

"Marry Me"

Forever can never be long enough for me
To feel like I've had long enough with you
Forget the world now we won't let them see
But there's one thing left to do

Now that the weight has lifted
Love has surely shifted my way

Marry Me
Today and every day
Marry Me
If I ever get the nerve to say "Hello" in this cafe
Say you will
Say you will

Together can never be close enough for me
Feel like I am close enough to you
You wear white and I'll wear out the words I love you
And you're beautiful
Now that the wait is over
And love and has finally shown her my way

Marry me
Today and every day
Marry me
If I ever get the nerve to say "Hello" in this cafe
Say you will
Say you will

Promise me
You'll always be
Happy by my side
I promise to
Sing to you
When all the music dies

And marry me
Today and everyday
Marry me
If I ever get the nerve to say "Hello" in this cafe
Say you will
Say you will
Marry me
