Hawaii, a little late.

I really just haven't been in the mood to blog lately. But I wanted to document this before I forgot all together.

Bauer and I had spent the end of January with my parents in Hawaii having a blast! (A BIGGGGG THANKS TO THEM!) It entailed lots of water time, lots of yummmmmy food, but most of all, loads of relaxation! I read 2 books in 2 weeks. I don't even think I've read one since college. Bauer did amazing both there and back and we were both anxious to see daddy (and by the look of the cupboards, he was ready to see us too!) Thanks Grammy and Papa
Bauer making himself comfortable in his very own first-class seat!

In one of my parents favorite local artist galleries next to one of our most favorite restaurants.
The real story of this photo is the fact that this horse had a DO NOT TOUCH sign on it, but the owner insisted Bauer sat up there for a picture. You're asking yourself, it's a wood rocking horse, why the NO TOUCH? it cost $35,000. And no, that wasn't a typo.

loved all the new trucks at Grammie and Papa's. that kid is ALLL boy.

turtle on the beach.
the first thing he did went he woke up was grab the train set and a few trucks and climb up next to Papa on the deck.
Lots of new discoveries.

he did leave a little sand on the beach when we left.

he had all the beach and ocean water and he was obsessed with the hose there for cleaning the boats that came in.

Bauer is definitely a PAPA's boy.

on our whale watching boat trip. NO ZOOM!

whale watching with his Grammie!

I don't think you'll see a whale up there buddy....

"Thanks Grammy and Papa!!"

Day 9...

Day 9- The last thing I purchased.

oK--this was actually hard! Since I don't think groceries count, I was seriously having to rack my brain to figure out what I bought last that wasn't in the food or toiletry category.
Thanks to some Fred Meyer Gift cards and a nice clearance sale, we did buy this little beauty for a whopping $35 dollars earlier this month.
The Lexmark faxer, scanner, printer, copier is awesome and it's come in real handy for Andrew to be able to save on some gas money. It's totally awesome and we've already used it way more than we even thought we would!

But if my money tree was in full bloom, I would absolutely purchase these:
...with a white duvet cover, and lots of navy/yellow/white accent pillows and fabric covered canvases above the bed, 2 of them to be exact...Just saying!

Day 8...

A song to match your mood.

This one was sorta hard for me. My mood is...i don't really want to start dinner, i couldn't think of a song that started like that. So I just put one of my favorites on. This came on my pandora station a couple weeks back and Bauer loves to dance in the family room to it! I dare you not to dance along when you hear it too!

(the video is funny, but not exactly how I interpreted the song myself. Kinda creepy, but they are both so cute, it's funny)

ENJOY!
(did i mention i leave for hawaii in 6 days, just saying!)

A little behind...

It's my blog, I can do what I want right?? Not only have a been busy working for Andrew during nap time. I also tried to chop the tip of my finger off, and have had a splint on it to give it a fighting chance of healing before B and I take off for Hawaii on Sunday!! It was actually pretty bad, but it's healing quite nicely-- typing just isn't a fav activity with a damaged pointer finger. I should have taken a picture of it, but since Andrew had to sit down after trying to help me bandage it up, consider yourself lucky.

Day 5 – A photo of yourself two years ago.
not very exciting, but this was at Andrew's parent's house for christmas of '08. I think we have a ton of more fun pictures from that trip, but they aren't on my computer-- so this one will have to do! I was 13 weeks pregnant with Bau-dizzle at this point. There's your fun-fact.

Day 6 – A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet.

I'll take a a stuffed one please!
I'm not afraid to admit that I really don't like house animals AT ALL!!! well really any animals for that matter, but i'll climb on the horse for a couple hours or go to the zoo, but that's about the extent of it. Go ahead judge me.
Day 7- Dream wedding.
I think my wedding was amazing, and I can't take much credit for it considering I lived out of the country for 3 of the 5 months I was engaged.
If i were to go back, however, I would have:
* listened to my mom and had a live band instead of a dj
*made sure I got a piece of my own cake, everyone I invited came i swear!
*Pick better 1st dance song so Andrew wouldn't make fun of me to this day.
*try to remember it better!
