What you find us doing at 16 weeks...

This is sorta random, but I feel like I haven't written an update in a long time..
At 16 weeks I am...
  • Teaching resource Part time and TAing the Intro to Special Ed class
  • Trying to not be Mrs. Grumpy to my class...not working that well...but it's not all my fault, they don't bring back their homework!
  • Going to school at night (2 humanities classes at the same time = not a good idea!)
  • Keeping the house in order and dinner on the table.
  • Packing LOTS of snacks for my purse.
  • Still teaching Kickboxing once a week for my ward.
  • Searching Craigslist and KSL for cheep baby stuff. (anyone has anything they're selling, let me know!)
  • Listening to Dustin Kensrue on pandora as a read sparknotes on the Iliad and the Odyssey
  • Dreaming about graduation in April.
  • Dreaming about taking a nap
  • Counting down the days til the Dicksons come, til I go to Portland for Presidents day!, and then til Mom and Dad come to BYU for their meetings. Yeay for weekend trips
  • Wondering when i'll stop looking fat and start looking pregnant....
What is Andrew doing at 16 weeks?
  • Working at Logoworks Part time
  • School at night
  • Studying lots
  • Keeping his wheels spinning and his eyes peeled for a job
  • Putting up with me even though I've been a little...snappy lately
  • Helping around the house even more than usual! (thanks Ands!!)
  • Did I mention that he's putting up with me still?? That deserves some sort of reward!
All in all we're healthy and happy and couldn't be more excited that everything is going well with the pregnancy so far! I can't believe we'll be able to find out what we're having in 4 weeks! crazy!

In case you hadn't heard...

WE'RE EXPECTING!

We are soooo excited to finally announce that we are expecting a little one. My due date is July 11th, (yes 7-11 and No the name SLURPY is not in the runnings) and we couldn't be more excited. So far so good-- I'm feeling great (now that the 1st trimester is over;)) I had an appointment yesterday and heard the very strong heartbeat from within me and he/she even gave us a kick so we got to hear that too! Fun Fun!

Crazy day so I can't post much now-- but now that you're all in the loop, I'll blog all about our adventures!
Thanks for your support and love-- especially from our families who are OH so sweet!

Christmas in Virginia!!

As you can tell from the fact that we took more photos on this trip than we have in the entire year and a half we've been married, we had a blast in Virginia with the Ellis' for the holiday!
From relaxing at home to hiking up Old Rag and everything in between, we loved our time out east. Thanks everyone for a great trip!! Especially you Tito and Tita!

Portland for Thanksgiving!

We had soooo much fun in Portland with my family for thanksgiving! I didn't take a ton of pictures-- but enough to give you our break in a nut-shell.

We started out with Sam and Bryan's Wedding Tuesday-- SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Sam looked amazing, Bryan was glowing, and the sealing was awesome. Thanks Kariya fam for letting us be part of your special day! Then we took off early Wednesday morning for Portland-- Thanks to Holiday Inn Express we stayed the night by the airport so we didn't have to drive all the way back to provo just to turn around and come back at the bum-crack-of-dawn. They also let us keep our car there the whole week for juts $10 with a free shuttle service to and from the airport! Shoutout to our friends at the Holiday Inn!!
We were so glad that Andrew's brother Mike was able to come with us!!! He's so much fun, as always, and the more the merrier at the Silliman house!
